Ecstasy Journeys > Tomb Rider > Checklist

We have prepared this check list and listing items as essential and optional.

Please make every effort to bring essential items even though you may think you can do without them and ensure you leave aside the extras.

Essential items

Good full faced helmet with proper visor for both rider and pillion Motorcycle riding jacket (Remember you're riding in the tropics so leather might not be your best bet).

  • Full finger gloves
  • Riding boots
  • Motorcycle riding pants (atleast for rider)
  • Camelbak or similar hydration pack

Optional

  • Back protector
  • Knee guards
  • Rain wear

While packing...

Since you've only got an allowance of one big duffel bag per person, we've put together a template checklist of things that you will need, yet fit into that bag. Feel free to leave out or add stuff. As long as you have clean sock and no smelly feet, the Khmer people won't complain.

  • 8 Tees
  • One pair of jeans
  • 2-3 Shorts
  • 7 pairs of socks
  • 7 pairs of underwear
  • I pair of swimming shorts (in case the river is tempting)
  • Toileteries
  • Personal medical kit (if you've got any specific medical allergies, please let us know)
  • Camera
  • Batteries
  • Other necessary items you may think of...

We will be staying for two nights in Kampot and Siem Reap and there will be laundry facilities available at the hotel for an additional fee. Also if you're wondering how to fit that riding gear into your duffel bag, it's simple, don't. Put on the jacket, pants and boots, carry your helmet in your hand (there's no law that says you can't look like a motorcyclist or carry your helmet on a flight, so argue your way through) and shove the gloves in your pocket. Easy no?
