My experience with IndiMotard began with the Tomb Rider tour to Cambodia in April 2010. From being received at the airport, to the pleasant surprise of the quaint hotels and resorts we were being put up in, to the delicious food of Cambodia, I began to realize, is the making of an IndiMotard experience. Then came the bikes and when the riding began – it was an unbelievable, unforgettable experience! The Dharma Bums, Anand, Prashant and Joshua, can ride – and the best part of the tour is, that they take you on that ride. Through gravel, sand, slush and clay, every day is something new and challenging, An experience like nothing before. And of course we also got to see the sights of Cambodia like the Killing Fields at Phnom Phen, the famous Angkor Wat Temples in Siem Reap and the quaint town of Battambang. The off roading experience was the highlight of the tour. And after a hard day’s ride to check into the most luxurious resorts and have the most fabulous food, is almost a dream one does not want to wake up from!

Delhi to Leh, Ladakh - This is a trip that may seem like an ordinary trip as its probably every biker’s dream trip. But to do the tour with IndiMotard means, the route is well planned and that is because the Dharma Bums are no strangers to the mountains. They have been to the Himalayas for years now and are well known in the region, which is apparent by the warmth of the welcome we receive as being part of the IndiMotard tour. All aspects of care is taken, from little details of choice of hotels, food and the tea stops along the way. Comfortable rooms to hot food on cold nights makes for a happy riding experience. When there are river crossings or landslides or ice on the road, the Dharma Bums and the service back up is always there to make sure we are safe.

Road Island Tour - On the Sri Lanka Tour, there was more off roading with its thrills of sliding, jumps and skids. The tour took us across from the west coast to the east coast, up to the Hill of Nuwara Eliya and down to the southern beaches of Tangale. Well planned itinerary , good hotel/resort accommodation to relax in after a hard day’s riding and we got to see Sri Lanka from the temples and dancers of Kandy, to the Horton Plains in the hills to the leopards in the game reserve in the South. IndiMotard’s tours are biking tours designed by the bikers, for the biker. If you love riding you will appreciate the planning, technical expertise, local knowledge and the empathy with the riders, that goes into these tours. I guess that is what makes an IndiMotard tour different from any other tour.
