Anand Dharmaraj Anand has been riding motorcycles in all forms, shapes and sizes covering all forms of riding from racing, touring and rallying for the past 27+ years. Anand has been racing motorcycles in the US since 1993. Starting with a Kawasaki ZX-7R on the tracks of Willow Springs (Willow Springs Motorcycle Club) in the novice class and then switching to a Yamaha FZR400 in 1994 raced three almost complete seasons at WSMC. Achieved quite a few podium finishes at these club racing events. He has spent extensive time at various tracks in the US(Laguna-Seca, Thunderhill, Buttonwillow). Anand has covered over 1,00,000kms in long distance touring. Anand has toured the US (San Francisco to LA, LA to Tennessee, Vegas to Chicago), Europe through Germany, Italy, France and the beautiful alps and has ridden in many other parts of the world (Hawaii, Australia & Papua New Guinea). Anand moved back to India in 2001 and started the concept of track days for motorcycles at Kari Speedway in Coimbatore (south India) and participates regularly at track days and races at both MMST and Kari speedway. Like an annual pilgrimage Anand has been to the Himalayas 3 years and counting. Anand has taken part in the extreme category for two wheelers at the Raid-de-Himalaya 2007 and the 10th Raid-de-Himalaya 2008. Anand finished 6th in the 10th Raid-De-Himalaya,2008. Anand lives and breathes motorcycles. Anand currently owns a large collection of bikes ranging from sports bikes to tourers. [ Get in touch ] |

Prashant Kumar "The Nomad" as he is usually referred to probably has more history than the number of years he has actually lived. Celebrating life with a diet of an assorted bunch of motorcycles ranging from British classics, Czech race machines and jap tech marvels his agenda constitutes circuit racing, dirt racing and touring, apart from the rallying Endeavour. An yearly pilgrimage to the Himalayas has not been missed for the past eight years and is either a rushed adrenalin pumping trip as a competitor on the Raid-de-Himalaya or on a relaxed pace with a bunch of petrol heads thumping through the roads less travelled. With over 3 lakh kilometers of motorcycle travel to his credit all around india and Bhutan ,the obsession currently revolves around fast motorcycles, twisty back roads and rutted gravel paths although it is rumored that he spends most of his time in greasy mechanic sheds honing his skills on restoring primitive motorcycles or building race contraptions of them!! An unruly IT professional, he prefers the open road with the wind in the hair to the air conditioned comfort of the workplace. He has been on the Raid-de-Himalaya twice once on a contraption built around a bullet when he managed to survive it to the finish, and last year on a Yamaha WR250 to make it to the podium..A people person he loves to spend hours over coffee talking all motorcycles...The altitude and attitude !!!
